15 university who recieve lower credit for direct entry 2016/17

List Of Universities That Accept Lower Credit In Direct Entry, candidates with Lower Credit in National Diploma (ND)/Higher National Diploma (HND) certificates? can still approach some universities to be considered for admission.

I have a friend that graduated with lower credit during his National Diploma (ND) course in polytechnic, but he want to go for his degree and he was worried so, i decided to make research on the school  who is receiving lower credit for their DE programs.So now i will  like to share some universities who is receiving lower credit for  their direct entry into their school.


Below are the list of universities who is receiving lower credit  for there DE form.

  1. All private universities – you may need upper credit for some courses.
  2. University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN)
  3. Osun State University (UNIOSUN)
  4. Ahmadu Bello University (ABU)
  5. University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID)
  6. University of Ilorin, UNILORIN (accepts lower credit in history and performer art)  
  7. Federal University of Technology, Minna, FUTMINNA
  8. Umaru Musa Yar’Adua University, UMYU
  9. University of Jos, UNIJOS
  10. Nasarawa State University (NSUK), Keffi
  11. Enugu State University of Science and Technology, ESUT
  12. Niger Delta University, NDU, Wilberforce
  13. Usman Dan Fodio University Sokoto (UDUSOK)
  14. University of Calabar (UNICAL)
  15. Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University formerly Anambra State University (ANSU)

Make sure you check JAMB Brochure to confirm whether you can apply for a course with Lower credit in ND.  Some others schools too may allow, but not listed here.
